How AstroScroll works

What we calculate

Your birth chart is a picture of the sky for the minute and place you were born. We calculate:

• The Sun, the Moon and the eight planets from Mercury to Pluto, each to the degree
• Your Rising sign (Ascendant) and the Midheaven
• The twelve houses (Placidus system)
• The aspects: the angles the planets form with each other
• The balance of the four elements

We use the tropical zodiac, the one Western astrology is based on. Positions are calculated astronomically and tested against reference data from Swiss Ephemeris, which is widely used in astrology software.

Without a birth time

Without a birth time we calculate the planets for noon and leave out the Rising sign and the houses. If the Moon changed sign on your birthday, your reading says so and covers both signs. Everything else stays exact.

How your reading is made

   We calculate the positions of the Sun, the Moon and the planets for the exact date, time and place of birth, with astronomical precision.

   Written

   The reading is written for exactly this chart, with the help of modern technology, following the method astrologers use to read a chart. No text blocks, no templates.

   Checked

   Every reading is checked by our astrologers before it reaches you. That takes a little time, which is why delivery is within 24 hours.
